1. Fantasy Kingdom Complex

If you’re looking for an exceptional destination, consider adding the Fantasy Kingdom Complex to your family’s day trip itinerary. On February 19, 2002, the Concord group opened the Fantasy Kingdom theme park, which draws a large crowd daily. 

For adults and children, the park has a variety of thrilling rides and innovative, entertaining activities. The vast video game arcade, a 1,500-foot roller coaster, an Arabian flying carpet, a large flume ride, racehorses, a Santamaria Viking ship, and crazy bumps are among the most popular attractions at the Fantasy Kingdom. This park provides safe entertainment and fun for the entire family.

The Fantasy Kingdom is near the Dhaka-Ashulia bypass road, about 30 kilometers from Dhaka city on the way to Savar, and is not far from the Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport. Every day of the week, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on government holidays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., it remains open.

2. Nandan Park

Nandan Park is a well-known family amusement park in the country that opened on October 3, 2003. With its exciting rides and entertainment activities such as the Water Coaster, Musical Dancing Fountain, Tilt-A-Whirl, Cable Car, Ice-Land, Wave Pool, and 5D Cinema Theater, it is an ideal place for a family day out. The Water World of Nandan Park opened in May 2004, providing visitors with eight new rides. The park is designed for families and offers a full day of fun.

Located at Baroipara, from Nabinagar to Chandra Highway in Savar, Nandan Park welcomes visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The entry fee for the park and two dry rides cost BDT 295 per person, while the entry fee and 10 dry park rides combined cost BDT 295 per ticket. Those who want to visit the water world can choose the entry fee with 10 dry park rides and the water world package for BDT 650 per person, while the entry fee with the water world package costs about BDT 550 per person.

3. Jamuna Amusement Park

The Jamuna Amusement Park is located in the Future Park complex on Pragati Sharani at Kuril in Baridhara and can be accessed from both directions of the Airport Road via the Kuril Flyover. This theme park is well-known for its thrilling rides, such as the pirate ship, roller coaster, tower challenger, sky drive, magic windmill, flying disco, etc. Aside from these, the fifth floor of the Jamuna shopping mall has an entertainment zone with a food court, restaurants, a kid’s area, and blockbuster cinemas, providing a fun experience for all family members, particularly children.

The Jamuna Amusement Park’s entry fee is BDT 50 per person, and the roller coaster ride costs around BDT 300 per ticket. Visitors must pay BDT 150 per person for other rides. Combined packages for multiple rides are available for around BDT 750 per person. The park is open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Saturday to Thursday and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. However, the Jamuna Shopping Mall and the Jamuna Amusement Park are closed on Wednesdays.

4. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre

On September 25, 2004, the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre, designed by renowned architect Ali Imam, officially opened to the public. It has a total area of 5.46 acres and can accommodate approximately 275 people per show. The immersive dome of the

theater offers visitors a fantastic three-dimensional experience, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and equipment to simulate Earth and the beautiful blue sky. The Novo Theatre is an ideal destination for entertainment for people of all ages, offering the chance to embark on an interplanetary adventure. The Novo Theatre is located on Bijoy Sharani Avenue in Tejgaon and is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. 6. Dream Holiday Park

The Dream Holiday Park in Narsingdi is the area’s largest amusement park, and it has grown in popularity with visitors from Dhaka and surrounding districts since its opening.  This park is ideal for families and tourists looking for an adventurous and exciting day out. It is known as the “Disneyland of Bangladesh” and attracts many visitors yearly.

The park has thrilling rides for children and adults, including water-based rides, which are especially popular in the summer. 7. Dhaka Shishu Park

Dhaka Shishu Park, which spans 15 acres, was established in 1979 as Bangladesh’s first children’s amusement park. It has several enjoyable rides, such as a wheel train, a merry-go-round, and several wheel-based rides. From October to March,

 the park is open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays. On Wednesdays, it is only open from 2 to 5 p.m. for the underprivileged and street children and is closed on Sundays. Dhaka Shishu Park has an entry fee of only BDT 15 per person, and there are 12 different rides for children, each of which costs BDT 10 per person. In addition, four rides with a ticket price of BDT 25 are operated by private companies. The park is close to the Shahbag Foot Overbridge.
